Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and pure fluoropolymer. PVDF is partially fluorinated and is easily extruded even in thick cross sections or large diameters. PVDF is generally used in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, strong acids, weak bases, and low smoke generation during a fire event. It is commonly used in the chemical, semiconductor, medical, pharma, and defense industries. Applications in chemical processing rely on PVDF to withstand heat and pressure, aggressive chemicals, mechanical stress, and abrasive particles.
Our extruded stock shapes of the following grades provide a wide range of performance options for demanding applications:
Plates: Thickness: 3/8″ to 5″
Rods: Diameter: 1/2″ to 9″
We manufacture and sell engineering and high performance thermoplastic stock shapes for machined parts. Our products are extruded from prime raw materials in our plant in Newark, Delaware, USA.
